If you arrive into Blackpool from the M55, and/or A583, you can hardly miss seeing the windmill.

Finding a place to legally park in order to visit us is slightly less obvious. DO NOT be tempted to park in the bus lay-by immediately by the windmill, as the local traffic enforcement authorities are likely to take a dim view of this.

After leaving the, “Marton Circle”, M55 junction 4 roundabout, in the Blackpool direction on the A583, turn left at the first junction traffic lights, onto Clifton Road. You cannot actually see the windmill at this point. After 200 metres, opposite Tesco, turn right into Langdale Road where there is a large bus turning island.  You will now see the mill straight ahead; Please park with care and consideration, as these are both residential roads and bus routes.

If you miss Clifton Road, and have already passed the mill on the A583, (and the aforementioned bus lay-by), carry straight on through the next traffic lights, at the Clifton Arms, then turn next left, just past the Millercare shop.  Turn left again at the next T junction, and you will see the mill ahead.

If approaching from the town direction, drive as though heading for the M55 until you pass the mill on your right, then turn right at the traffic light junction before the Motorway, into Clifton Road.

Inter-town buses can stop in the A583 layby, immediately by the mill.
